I currently fly as a commercial pilot daily. I enjoy flight instruction because it challenges me. There is a great satisfaction when a student goes on his/her first solo flight, and earns his/her certificate or rating. I know that every student learning to fly will be flying in the sky with me some day. It is important that I strive to make that student a better pilot than I am. Ultimately, my goal is to develop a great aviator, which makes safer skies for us all. Safety is paramount!
I suggest when selecting a flight school and instructor that you make sure to compare “apples to apples”. Most flight schools will advertise a price that includes 40 hours of flight time, which is the minimum required for a license. The national average is 60-75 hours, so be realistic when calculating a budget. We average 56 hours per student.

The helicopters we operate and train in are the Robinson R22, Robinson R44 and Schweizer 300C. We will get you experience in all three of these models. This is very important because the typical entry level postition will be to work as a flight instructor. You will qualify to work at virtually every flight school because these are the three most common training helicopters in the world.
